When the energy companies are raising prices again and again. Do not wait for another price hike. Deal with it and install the solar panels. The power generated will turn the meter backward, if you can generate enough of power for your house. Your electric bill will be ZERO! If you can generate more than your own need, the meter will go back further. But you cannot sell the power back to power company. It’s better to install rechargeable batteries to store the energy! Since you had paid for the solar panels, have 25-30 years of warranty. Should be able to enjoy the benefit of self-generated power for a long, long time. And it’s clean and from the Sun! In the past, the energy is centralized.   Only big energy companies can provide utilities.  Now the new Renewable Energy Policy is to use Wind or Solar that can be decentralized.  Adding all the rebates and tax incentives, consumers will be paying only 25% of the total cost of the system.  Grab the Great opportunity!! 

II Government Buy-Down:

Every States/Cities have different policy; please check your local Energy Commission.  And can get finance/loan from the banks.  Here is program from Californian Energy Commission…  

The Californian Energy Commission is offering Cash Rebates on eligible renewable energy electric-generating systems. Residential systems, you can get a $2.80/watt rebate from California Energy Commission. 

This program is called the Emerging Renewable Buy-Down Program. (Above charge only for solar panels and parts, not including installation charge!)

Commercial or over 30KW system.  You can get a rebate from SGIP (Self Generation Incentive Program).   Edison or Gas Company and all utilities companies are in charge of this program .  Rebate is $2.80/watt for PV, $3.20/watt for Thermal, or 50% off your system purchase price (Whichever is less), making it more affordable to generate your own electricity using renewable energy.

Tax Breaks:

1. Income Tax: The new 2005 Energy Bill adding business Income tax 30% write off as incentive and no capping.  For residential personal income tax, also get the same 30% break.  However limit to $2,000 maximum!

Who is eligible to apply?

All types of electricity customers are eligible: Residential, commercial, agricultural and industrial.  Your proposed site must be within the electric utility service area of Pacific Gas and Electric, San Diego Gas & Electric, Southern California Edison, or Bear Valley Electric Company.  You must also be and remain connected to the utility grid.

For 2006, our interest is to sell more tracking PV systems.  That can track down the best solar source to generate 30-70% more energy.  The tracker will be a stand alone unit, separate from the house and not on the roof.   It's easier to maintain the system and with the same amount of PV modules but maximize it's power generation.

IV. Solar Carport with EV Charger:

We also have plan to sell more Solar Carports, using pre-fabricated Galvanized Metal Carport with Insulating Ceramic Coating.   They are moderately priced but maximized the power generation by providing more over hang roof space. 

Adding PV modules on the roof to power the business, so the business owners do not have to worry about turning on air conditioners or prolonging business hours.  You will have plenty of your own clean power for your business.
